The Society ran out winners of the 2022 Winter Warmer held at Spinnaker SC 29/20 January 2022, beating Exeter Blue 2-0 in the final. Cindies SC beat Rutland Raiders 2-0 in the petit final to take the bronze medal.
Heartiest congratulations to the Society team and to the ‘somewhat Society’ Cindies team. Detailed results will be available for a time on kSail. Sailing conditions were excellent on Saturday, but calms delayed the start of sailing until noon on Sunday.
Congratulations also to Southampton and Spinnaker for organising an excellent event, much enjoyed by the 20 teams participating – including both major Dublin universities. And many thanks also to all the helpers, official, and umpires for the vital role they play in such events.
